Which sounds are normal?
Soft, steady operating noise
While the device is running, the fan may produce a soft, even, and continuous sound. This is usually normal. We have optimized the device to reduce operating noise.
If you are sensitive to sound, try positioning the Hub slightly farther from the head of your bed to reduce disturbance. Make sure the hoses and cables are not stretched and adequate ventilation is maintained.
Water flow or bubbling sounds during filling
During initial filling or refilling, water flowing and air bubbles moving through the hoses may produce sounds. These initial bubbles usually dissipate gradually as the device runs. Allow some time and check whether the sound decreases or disappears.
What should I check if I hear unusual noise?
If the Hub produces distinct intermittent noises, high-pitched sounds, or unusual fluctuations in volume, check the following.
Before inspecting or moving the device, turn it off, unplug it, and wait for the fans to stop completely.
-
Check ventilation clearance
Make sure the air inlets and outlets are unobstructed. Leave 8–12 inches (20–30 cm) of clearance around the Hub for ventilation.
-
Check the placement
Keep the Hub upright on a firm, level floor in a well-ventilated area. Make sure it is not tilted or wobbling.
-
Check for fan damage
Use your phone’s flashlight to visually inspect the fan blades through the rear ventilation openings for obvious breakage or damage. Do not remove the housing or insert fingers or tools into the openings.
-
Check for tangled objects
Look through the openings from the outside for yarn, thread, or other objects caught in the fans. If you find any tangled objects, remove them if it is safe to do so.
If the unusual noise persists after these checks, or if you identify any of the issues above and cannot resolve it yourself, stop using the device and contact our support team.
